  • Treasury yields climbed on escalations in the Middle East that sent oil prices higher
  • 10s closed on Wednesday at 4.48  [Wednesday’s range in 10s: 4.45/4.50
  • 2s closed on Wednesday at 4.08    [Wednesday’s range in 2s: 4.05/4.09]
  • 2y – 5y:   + 13  bps
  • 2y – 10y: + 40 bps

Total US inventories (including the SPR) was down 16 million barrels last week.

 
In the chart above, the 2023 low was the lowest since 1986. 


Yesterday, VOO, the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF, surpassed $1 trillion dollars in assets. The first ETF to hit this milestone.

IVV and SPY are in second and third place; they are all S&P 500 tracker ETFs.
